Robert DeLisle (KIrkD) has kindly made his code available for the generation and training of self organising maps. The code is well designed and commented and comes complete with step-by-step "how to" instructions and UML-like diagrams. You can find the files, documentation and a pre-compiled executable here (to see the executable run make sure you put the data file "Random4.csv" into the c:\temp folder)
If you have problems with the code or would like to ask Kirk questions please contact him here: REMOVErkdelisleREMOVE@earthlink.net.

5th May 2004: ai-junkie forum has changed address

I've finally managed to track it down though! You can find it here.
3rd June 2003
I've decided to stop posting news from around the internet. The time between updates has been getting longer and longer and besides, the AI-Depot, Generation5 and GameAI do an admirable job of keeping you posted with recent developments. If I find any news or links I haven't seen on those websites I'll post them at the ai-junkie forum.
